Buckinghamshire Ambassadors

The Buckinghamshire Ambassadors scheme was launched in October 2004 and is co-ordinated by Buckinghamshire County Council to bring together key people from all walks of life to raise the profile of Buckinghamshire and to promote economic growth in the county.

In their day to day activities the Ambassadors meet people in a wide range of spheres of influence and this provides a unique opportunity to promote the county as the place of choice in which to work and live.

What are we asking you to do?

As a Buckinghamshire Ambassdor, there are no time consuming duties, or fees to pay. Our only request is that you raise the profile of Buckinghamshire by promoting the County in your everyday activities, by disseminating information about Buckinghamshire, using local suppliers where possible, and supporting your local community.

Benefits for Ambassadors

The benefits of being a Buckinghamshire Ambassador are:

  • Raising the profile of your organisation and its achievements
  • Events which provide an opportunity to network with other Ambassadors to share best practice
  • News and information to keep you abreast of local issues
  • Generating wealth creation for Buckinghamshire by bringing economic benefits and increased exposure for Buckinghamshire as the place to do business
